Our journey across the United States took us next to Chicago, a bustling large city famed for its bold architecture and affectionately nicknamed "The Windy City". We decided to visit the Navy Pier.

- It was built in 1916 at a cost of $4.5 million

- Its Ferris Wheel is 150 feet high and has a maximum capacity of 300 passengers
- It was home to the University of Illinois between 1946 and 1965, and more than 100,00 students attended it during that time
